When learning is difficult ,there are specific neurological brain pathways that have not fully connected and integrated during early development or are shut down due to stressful situations. Visible signs that a child may not be reaching their full potential include confusion, difficulty processing new information, poor concentration skills and short attention span, poor fine motor skills, low self-esteem, social and friendship issues and an overall negative attitude towards school and learning. In my clinical experience, I have seen a remarkable improvement in these children when better brain integration is achieved.
What is the SmartBoost Program?
The SmartBoost program a learning enhancement program that supports brain integration by switching on the energetic connections between neural pathways in the brain. In just 6-8 sessions, your child will experience profound improvement in their learning ability. Within weeks, they are will generally feel that learning is getting easier and demonstrate better comprehension and fluency when reading. They will begin to do their homework on their own and will generally feel better about themselves and look forward to going to school. The results are visible in the classroom as children start to engage more readily with a range of learning concepts. Other issues such as emotional stress, self-esteem, poor confidence, bullying, sibling rivalry, bedwetting, diet, food intolerances and nutritional support are also explored in the sessions. After the initial SmartBoost program is completed, a few sessions a year is recommended for ongoing support.
How does it work?
The brain is electrical energy so a series of corrections have been developed using Acupuncture reflex points, kinesiology techniques, ESR, Theta Healing, Nutrition, Allergy/Intolerance. All corrections are non invasive and don't require endless exercises. We begin with an assessment using muscle testing to determine levels of access to specific brain functions, eye tracking, left and right coordination, to name a few. In the following visits, specific corrections are applied to stimulate and connect electrical circuitry in the brain and body. The brain integration procedure releases stress in the deep brain centres including the limbic system, which controls access to and integration of hemispheric brain functions.
When the initial program is completed, it is important to maintain integration with follow up sessions as the need arises. Brain integration can come and go according to stress levels although now the brain knows how to connect and function at a more integrated level. Stressful times such as exams, school bullying, sugar blow out, limiting beliefs, grief within family, loss of pet, school friendship issues, sibling rivalry and teacher conflict are just some examples of situations that may challenge brain integration from time to time. This program can greatly improve results with other support programs such as tutoring, occupational therapy, speech therapy and behavioural optometry.
